New Sabrina London character art!!!!

Hi all,

Sorry I have been absent from this blog. I have been gathering more art and making plans to write a supplemental Water Kingdom short story in 2020.

Here's a piece of art that was just finished last week. It's amazing and I love-love-love it!

I enjoy anime and I love anime-style art and artists. This guy nailed it.

I always give artists I work with some creative license with the wings. Granted, in my eyes, and in the book, her wings are multi-color. But I like how he kept to the water theme and made them shimmering light blue.

I'm planning on having him do Moselle next. (maybe in a month or so.) I will also have Kevin West, who has done other character work for me, do a Moselle piece soon too.

I'd love to have a whole art book filled with different artists. Dare to dream...

May 10th has always been special to me. My wedding day, and later, when I was celebrating my anniversary...my future best doggie friend was born. I know, I am like a week or so late...I was busy promoting and doing book blog tours. Craziness. Even was knocked down, on my birthday two weeks ago, with some weird flu/cold/sinus thing. Yuck!

New Art! A Pin-up of Natalia from the Water Kingdom Series

Hi all,

You know by now I really enjoy seeing my characters brought to life via pen(pencil) and paper. Here is a new piece by Luiz Prado Arts.

This is Natalia. She is featured in books 2 and 3 of the Water Kingdom - TWO POLLUTED BLACK-HEART ROMANCES and THREE BURNING RED RUNAWAY BRIDES.

Natalia is a vampire from the same clan Cade is from, but she is older and much more dangerous. When she is introduced she is already on the prowl...  :)

Natalia was a Russian Ballerina when turned in the early 1900s while she was the lead in a production of Swan Lake.

As you can see, she is still wearing one of her dresses. If you would like to know more about Natalia start reading ONE SMOKING HOT FAIRY TAIL and when you ready TWO POLLUTED BLACK-HEART ROMANCES you will be very intrigued. She is a very busy vampire...with a lot to do.

COVER REVEAL!!!

Hi all,

So, unbeknownst to me, the Kindle pre-order link for THREE BURNING RED RUNAWAY BRIDES popped up on Amazon yesterday. I was expecting it maybe at the end of the week. And I was planning on posting this cover reveal first... oops. lol.

So here we are. The big cover reveal. 

Perfection!

The cover is by artist Le Vuong. He digitally painted the cover for TWO POLLUTED BLACK-HEART ROMANCES too. I approached him over a year ago, he was getting very busy and on a fast rise to fame. I wanted to make sure he did this cover because I knew he would nail it...and he did.

As an artist myself, I have a process. I draw lots of sketches and then send some to the cover artist to see what he thinks. I wanted Sabrina to be either gazing at "herself" or fighting "herself" on this book.

This is my sketch.

 After I sent him my sketch and my ideas, along with a small excerpt from the novel, he sent back these sketches below.

I was torn between the first and last image. They both conveyed the message I wanted. But I decided to go with the last one, because it was more dynamic and had better mystery.

Le Vuong is a master of his craft. He provided me with a cover that was exactly what I wanted. And SOOOOO beautiful. I love it.

I hope you like it too. And when you read the book, and come to realize the scene it represents, you might just squeal or squee or want to give me a hearty "hell yeah!".

The book will be released at the end of the month. I will post links soon.
